Welcome, 23 students and 2 teachers from Køge Gymnasium, Denmark!  The Køge Gymnasium was founded in 1962 as a public college preparatory high school and offers two upper secondary academic programs both qualifying for further studies at university etc. The total number of students today is approx. 1100, all 16-19 years of age. The visiting students are enrolled in a class where they are taught exclusively in English in history, social science studies and English. 5-7 of the students have spent a year at an American high school as exchange students, one was part of Hilary Clinton’s election campaign and a couple of students have lived abroad with their parents. All the students are fluent in English. In addition to A-level English, the students take at least one other foreign language, either German, French, Spanish or Russian.
